techniques.org is looking to hire a Senior E-learning developer immediatly. The individual accepting the role will be taking over my current position. Senior E-learning Developer (SCORM and Flash)

The Senior E-learning Developer will oversee all aspects of the development process for SCORM conformant courseware production. This includes consultation with instructional designers to implement working solutions for new functionality in the techniques.org Flash-based e-learning framework. The position also involves overseeing the final deployment of SCORM conformant courses into various third-party Learning Management Systems (LMS). The Senior E-learning Developer will take complete ownership for the Flash based e-learning framework handling feature requests, bugs, and maintenance. The Senior E-learning Developer will delegate tasks as appropriate to the Junior E-learning Developer and support technical questions for all internal staff, contractors, and vendors. The Senior E-learning Developer will provide detailed estimates for requested work and become familiar with, independently research, and then present practical solutions for complex issues related to SCORM courseware development.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
• Experience in creating and packaging SCORM conformant PIFs/courses for delivery in various LMSs
• Experience implementing SCORM 2004 Sequencing and Navigation standards
• Experience in implementing the SCORM 2004 RTE and Data Model
• Solid ActionScript 2.0 knowledge (OOP/Classes)
• Experience testing SCORM courses with the ADL Test Suite to prove conformance
• Solid JavaScript knowledge
• Five+ years professional Web development experience
• Proven ability to oversee all technical aspects of e-learning projects from start to finish
• Self-motivation, positive attitude, and an ability to work with little supervision
• Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple tasks and projects with strong personal time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Outstanding communication skills with staff and clients and be able to work in a team oriented environment
• Demonstrated ability to create internal processes and guidelines
• Experience managing and mentoring junior developers and freelance contractors when appropriate
• XML editing and creation experience
• Source Code Management/Revision control (Subversion)
• HTML/CSS
